Thanks to the long involvement of generations of the Kressmann family, and the recognition shown in 1953 by the classification of Graves, the wines of Château LaTour-Martillac feature among the best of Pessac-Léognan. The expansion of the range was drawn up by Tristan and Loïc Kressmann. The second wines appeared at the end of the 1980’s under the label Lagrave-Martillac, followed by the Château Langlet, a magnificent property in the Graves appellation, acquired in 1999.

Lacroix-Martillac comes from selected plots at Château LaTour-Martillac, highlighting the Merlot in the red wines blending.
With each new vintage, the Kressmann family strive to achieve in these wines the best from this true Graves terroir by prioritising a quality yield, in keeping with traditional viticulture practices.

Clos de l’Oratoire, located on Saint-Emilion's northeast slope, has 13 hectares of vines. The terroir of Fronsac molasse, consisting of a layer of sandy soil and a clay subsoil, is ideally suited to Merlot (80% of the vines).

Clos de l’Oratoire is round, smooth, and very seductive. It has a beautiful deep crimson colour and powerful fruity aromas. Merlot provides roundness and opulence, whereas Cabernet Franc contributes power, aromatic complexity, and a long aftertaste. Although Clos de l’Oratoire can be enjoyed seven years after the vintage, it is, above all, a wine with fine ageing potential.

The property was not really a wedding gift: the house and vines had been abandoned and there was no winery. However, my wife, when she saw the old château, thought that it should be our home. Starting from scratch, we refurbished it to our taste, replanted the vines according to expert recommendations, and built an operational winery to produce a wine under the Cantelaudette label.
It was in 1981 that the Marquis Lodovico Antinori, cousin of Piero Antinori, founded the Ornellaia Estate, in the heart of the Bolgheri area, a few kilometers from the Mediterranean coast. Thus, with the first harvest of 1985, what would become an icon among the SuperTuscans was born: the "Ornellaia". With the inauguration of the company, the world-famous enologist, Michel Rolland, begins to deal with the technical part of the cellar. Subsequently, in the 90s the other two labels were born: "Le Volte" and "Le Serre Nuove".

Crafted from the same varieties, under the same sky, from the same philosophy: Le Serre Nuove dell’Ornellaia is a proud second vin, which has the ability to foretell the personality of the estate’s flagship wine. Together, the two wines provide their own distinctive points of view. The pleasure of sipping Le Serre Nuove dell’Ornellaia evolves over time, adding the charm of maturity to the vigour of youth.

Casa Santos Lima was created to ensure the continuous development of Santos Lima’s wine producing activity created several generations ago. This activity was first started by Joaquim Santos Lima, who, by the turn of 19th century, was already a great producer and exporter of Portuguese wines. Still a family owned company, today is present in the regions of Lisboa, Algarve, Alentejo, Vinho Verde and Douro.

The altitude vineyards, planted in this region between mountains and deep valleys in granitic soils originate wines of great character and elegance. Gained through generations during centuries, the local know-how allows the production of this wine made exclusively with the indigenous Jaen grape, which is called Mencía in the nearby Bierzo region of Spain. Delicate aromas with notes of wild fruit and dark pepper, it reveals a silky and well-balanced aftertaste. This is a great example of the fine wines from this region.

Chappellet is recognized as one of the great Napa Valley wineries, and one of the few which remains family owned. Today, the second generation is committed to continuing the vision of their parents, Donn and Molly Chappellet. Together, the siblings are dedicated to maintaining sustainable farming techniques, a relentless focus on wine quality, respect for Pritchard Hill’s natural beauty and the preservation of family ownership for generations to come.

The most sought-after wine in the portfolio, this limited-production Cabernet Sauvignon represents the pinnacle of Chappellet winemaking and embodies the elegant power and complexity of Pritchard Hill winegrowing. Like the great Bordeaux wines that first inspired Donn Chappellet, this wine is crafted by blending Cabernet Sauvignon with other classic Bordeaux varietals. The wine was aged for 22 months in 100 percent new French oak. Grown on rocky, mountainside vineyard, these Cabernets have consistently displayed an ability to age for several decades.
