The name “iLauri” stems from the ancient roots of our birth place, Loreto Aprutino, once covered in Laurus nobilis, or laurel trees.

The Spanish influence in Italy and European Baroque culture during the 16th century cannot be denied. The Abruzzo region, as most of Southern Italy had intense ties from a political, cultural, religious, economic and social point of view. The Avalos family moved to Italy and developed centers of cultural excellence that rivaled the Medici family. Pecorino, a white grape once thought lost to the world is a must-try for those that believe Trebbiano is the only white wine in the Abruzzi. A sumptuous full-bodied white that flows with compelling flavors of white pulp, apricots and lychees.

The Cantina di Negrar brand is the soul of Cantina Valpolicella Negrar and pays homage to the philosophy of cooperative production while also recalling the territory’s historical vestiges: the effigy of St. Mark’s Lion standing tall on a column in the centre of Negrar is testimony of the Venetian Republic’s domination in the sixteenth century. The Cantina di Negrar wines are rooted in the wine-making tradition of Valpolicella and the Veronese wine-growing areas, with a modern reinterpretation to guarantee the best price/quality ratio.

This wine takes its name from its production area, Lugana, which is located on the southern shore of Lake Garda and divided between the provinces of Brescia and Verona.

Malbicho is regarded as someone who dares to try something new, who abides by the dictates of tradition, who has a confident and challenging attitude toward life. Therefore, these wines convey the vision of someone who thinks outside the box, someone who challenges limits, who fears nothing. Argentine wines, but with their own unique perspective: free and challenging. That and much more lives in every bottle of Malbicho.

A great example of an Argentine Chardonnay, which possesses a smooth, mouth-filling sensation for a finish that is complex luscious and round

This now forms the basis of the M. CHAPOUTIER ethos to reveal the very best of what the soils have to offer.

The Saint-Joseph appellation extends around fifty kilometres on the right bank of the River Rhone, from Chavanay in the north to Guilherand-Granges, near Valence, in the south. The mainly-east facing vineyards are planted on the steep slopes of gneiss and local granite schist, occasionally coated with lenses of loess. This variety of substrates enables to combine complexity, volume and tautness in both Deschants whites and reds.
