NOSE
The nose is pure and expressive showing vibrant herbal and blackcurrant leaf notes. There is an underlying citrus aroma that provides a nice, lifted finish on the nose.

Concentrated and elegant, it shows great texture with a lively acidity and mineral drive, giving the wine exceptional length.

PAIRING

On the palate this wine displays fresh apple, quince, and subtle hints of sweet baking spice. Full-bodied yet bright on the palate, this is a fresh and richly textured wine with a long and lingering finish.

AGEING
Post-ferment the wine is held in tank and matured for a short period of time before being stabilized and prepared for bottling.

The palate is smoothly textured with flavour of red and dark fruit, spice and French oak, underpinned by nuances of dry herbs and savoury notes.
Mid-weight on the palate, it is balanced with refined silky tannins that lead to a long and elegant finish.

AGEING
Once the final blend was made, the wine is left to develop for a few months in oak.

PAIRING
Dishes with a touch of spice or Portobello mushrooms, bacon on sourdough bruschetta with roasted garlic and drizzled truffle oil.
