NOSE
Starts with engaging aromas of blackberry, dark chocolate and allspice

PALATE
The sumptuous palate is bright and vibrant with tremendous juicy ripe fruits on display. The slightly chewy and chalky tannins sit perfectly, meanwhile the mix of oak has been precisely chosen. Excellent wine.

AGEING
Maturation in a combination of new and aged oak barrels for between 18-24 months.

PAIRING
Perfect with roasted meats, mushroom risotto or aged cheeses.

Pale lemon in appearance.

NOSE
Aromatically the wine shows notes of powderpuff mineral bath salts, white floral blossom, ripe citrus and a faint glimpse of almond nuttiness.

PALATE
On the palate flavours of nougat, lemon citrus pith, white peach and nectarine work towards a clear target and a focused finish as the wine drives all the way to the back of the palate.

AGEING
Varying degrees of oak barrel and stainless steel use, lees stirring and malolactic fermentation are all used in an effort to add some roundness and depth before bottling.

PAIRING
Great with chicken and mushroom risotto.

Touches of oak, chocolate, and vanilla bean complete the rich round palate. A muscular wine with good layers of spice and a nice dry finish to the tannins. Still plenty of youth and vibrancy in tightly coiled package.

AGEING
Fermentation completed in barrel, with 18 months’ maturation, followed by individual barrel selection.

PAIRING
A good old scotch fillet in peppercorn sauce would be a treat alongside it.
