Very dark ruby, sometimes impenetrable.

NOSE
Deep and complex on the nose, it gives the nose a bouquet of notes of blackberry, plum and raspberry. It has a wonderful spicy and delicate scent of vanilla, cocoa, licorice.

PALATE
The drink is of great character, dynamic and silky in the tannic texture and snappy in the freshness, long in the persistence. Very well balanced. Warm and satisfying.

AGEING
Part for the wine ages for 12 months in fine French barriques and 3 months in bottle.

PAIRING
Great to go with red meat, game, quails and richly flavoured dishes.
Very good with well aged cheeses, such as parmesan, pecorino and gorgonzola.
