Elaborated since the 2019 vintage, this Pauillac is a fruity, supple and well-balanced wine.

These grapes are harvested, vinified and aged by the Château Pichon Baron team. They produce this Pauillac with the same standards of quality as their other wines in order to highlight this appellation.

TECHNICAL DATA
Alcohol 13.5%

APPEARANCE
Beautiful, deep ruby red in colour.

NOSE
The expression is quite mineral initially.
The fruit becomes more apparent on the second nose to bring out notes of very ripe red fruit, such as black cherry and bilberry.

PALATE
The attack quickly comes into its own with a well-defined, integrated and persistent structure.
Tannins are precise and linger, and the very long finish is fresh.

AGEING
70% from one-year-old barrels, 30% in new barrels for 12 months.

PAIRING
The perfect match would be pigeon, goose or lamb, together with hard cheese.

READINESS FOR DRINKING
It can be enjoyed young, or cellared for 15 years or more.
