For over thirty years, Fratelli Cosmo have been producing Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore, pioneering the revival of a method that was widespread in the Conegliano Valdobbiadene area until 1930 and subsequently forgotten.
Today, they can proudly take you on a journey through various methods of vinification and sparkling wine production using Glera grapes, to discover together that Prosecco can transcend traditional interpretations.

Tribute to the Cosmo brothers, this fragrant, delicate Prosecco DOC Rosé is a quality selection of the finest Glera and Pinot Noir grapes from the province of Treviso.

TECHNICAL DATA
Alcohol 11.5%
Residual sugar 12.8g/l
Total acidity 6.10g/l
pH 3.01

APPEARANCE
It appears a lovely, shimmering pale pink, with dense, silky mousse.

NOSE
The bouquet is generous and fruit-rich, redolent of cherry, raspberry, and wild strawberry.

PALATE
That fruit continues onto a stylish palate, whose crisp acidity gives admirable support to the wine’s harmonious, elegant structure.

AGEING
The must spends a brief period on the skins and then is gently pressed off with a bladder press. Effervescence is achieved via the Italian Method in 30hl steel pressure fermenters over a period of 2 months.

PAIRING
This is an outstanding sipping wine, but also a beautiful partner to first courses of fish and vegetables, as well as to traditional Italian tomato-based preparations.

It was founded in 1987 by a family that had been dedicated to vine growing for generations and it is now the leading private Conegliano-Valdobbiadene DOCG wine maker, with countless accolades from top wine competitions.
The Astoria world is presented using fresh, highly appealing and carefully gauged aesthetics and communication methods that are clear and instantly recognizable. Its values have earned it numerous wine packaging awards.

Like a diamond in the center of a crown, this Prosecco DOC Rosé is a sparkling wine that reveals all the passion of a family committed, for generations, to viticulture and sustainable quality. An innovative fusion of Glera and Pinot Nero , this Prosecco literally enters the Astoria range 'with a bang', revealing itself to be a taste with a wisely measured balance, as well as a new reality also for the DOC itself which, until 2020, did not include Rosé versions . From the infinite pleasure of drinking and the unmistakable packaging that distinguishes Astoria, this Millesimato will be the wine of the new aperitif!
