In the late 1990s, the Bolfo family decided to breathe new life into the ruins of an old convent located in the charming countryside of Pievasciata, a picturesque village in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga (Siena). And it was from the vineyards of this monastery, lovingly and carefully transformed into the prestigious 5-star Hotel Le Fontanelle, that the story of Vallepicciola began.

A harmonious blend of three varietals: Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc, Pievasciata is a full-bodied and intense, yet simple to drink.

Malbicho is regarded as someone who dares to try something new, who abides by the dictates of tradition, who has a confident and challenging attitude toward life. Therefore, these wines convey the vision of someone who thinks outside the box, someone who challenges limits, who fears nothing. Argentine wines, but with their own unique perspective: free and challenging. That and much more lives in every bottle of Malbicho.

A great Argentinean Cabernet Sauvignon, with aromas of red fruit, peppers, eucalyptus and very rounded on the palate.

Château du Tertre takes its name from the superb group of graves, culminating point of the Margaux appellation, on which is erected the castle. This millennial property of 52 hectares (of which 18 are grown biodynamic) enjoys worldwide renown thanks to the prestigious Grand Cru Classé de Margaux title it has had since 1855.
The arrival of Eric Albada-Jelgersma, the current owner, in 1997 will profoundly mark the field. A restructuring program and heavy investments have restored its reputation to Château du Tertre. This program has resulted in upgrading technical equipment, reducing yields and setting up a new team. Under the direction of Alexander Van Beek ,Eric Boissenot for winemaking, the vineyard has significantly increased the quality of these wines, giving Château du Tertre its character and nobility, where silky and freshness are combined to bring you the elegance expected of a great Margaux wine.

Legend relates that the name of this imposing estate originates with Connétable Talbot, a famous English warrior, defeated at the battle of Castillon in 1453. Talbot is one of the Medoc’s oldest estates, its glory never tainted. Through the years, it has been fortunate enough to remain in good hands. The owners are Nancy Bignon-Cordier and her family. They are the fourth generation of Cordiers to manage this Saint-Julien fourth Classified Growth.
For many, Talbot embodies the ideal Saint-Julien, a generous bouquet, extremely stable and dependable during aging, a champion of longevity; even young Talbot is pleasant and rounded, always characterized by silky, mild and very civilized tannins. Talbot possesses an expansive character. It’s never withdrawn into itself and has the courtesy of being in a good mood every day.

Château Chasse-Spleen is the leading Moulis estate along with Château Poujeaux. Although it is classified only as a Cru Bourgeois, it regularly outperforms many of the Médoc's more renowned classed growths. There are numerous stories trying to explain the name of Chateau Chasse Spleen. The first version is that the name was inspired from a visit by Lord Byron in 1821, which was so moved, that he quoted, “Quel remede pour chasser le spleen”, which when loosely translated means, “What remedy to remove the spleen?”. The other equally poetic explanation is attributed to the poem Spleen, whose author Charles Baudelaire also visited Château Chasse-Spleen.
A very elegant, fresh and classical wine with a lot of energy and drive on the finish with great aging potential.

Thanks to the long involvement of generations of the Kressmann family, and the recognition shown in 1953 by the classification of Graves, the wines of Château LaTour-Martillac feature among the best of Pessac-Léognan. The expansion of the range was drawn up by Tristan and Loïc Kressmann. The second wines appeared at the end of the 1980’s under the label Lagrave-Martillac, followed by the Château Langlet, a magnificent property in the Graves appellation, acquired in 1999.

Lacroix-Martillac comes from selected plots at Château LaTour-Martillac, highlighting the Merlot in the red wines blending.
With each new vintage, the Kressmann family strive to achieve in these wines the best from this true Graves terroir by prioritising a quality yield, in keeping with traditional viticulture practices.

Château Carbonnieux is one of the oldest and largest wine estates in the Bordeaux region. Its history extends over almost 8 centuries and its vineyard over a hundred hectares. Belonging to the Perrin Family since 4 generations, the whole vineyard is located around the castle at the top of a superb gravel hill. All the wines produced depend on the Pessac-Léognan AOP.

2017 will be remembered for the frosty spells in late April that severely affected the Château Carbonnieux vineyard, but thanks to the meticulous attention paid to the vineyard and the precision and technique of the château team, they have succeeded in extracting the best from this vintage like true winemakers. A flagship wine of the estate, the 2017 Château Carbonnieux red is the result of a rigorous selection of the finest lots tasted.

Ageing in oak barrels for 16 to 18 months (35-40 % new oak).
