					<description><![CDATA[Casa Santos Lima was created to ensure the continuous development of Santos Lima’s wine producing activity created several generations ago. This activity was first started by Joaquim Santos Lima, who, by the turn of 19th century, was already a great producer and exporter of Portuguese wines. Still a family owned company, today is present in the regions of Lisboa, Algarve, Alentejo, Vinho Verde and Douro.

The basis for the first-class and wonderfully powerful cuvée Quid Pro Quo Vinho Tinto from Casa Santos Lima are Alfrocheiro, Tempranillo and Touriga Nacional grapes.

Deep violet colour.</p>

The first nose reveals notes of blackberries, plums and black cherries. The fruity aspect of the bouquet are joined by fruity-balsamic nuances.</p>
<p><strong>PALATE</strong><br />
The palate delights with its elegantly dry flavors of black currant and morello cherry. In the finish, this youthful red wine thrills with beautiful length.</p>
<p><strong>AGEING</strong><br />
Ageing on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.</p>

An accompanying wine to roasted calf&#8217;s liver with apples, onions and balsamic vinegar sauce, boeuf bourguignon or stuffed peppers.</p>
